Vigils were held throughout Chile Thursday night to mourn the two students killed in the northern coastal city of Valparaiso following demonstrations demanding university input into President Miochele Bachelet's educational reforms. The students were killed after they spray painted slogans on an apartment building; the killer, the son of the owner of the building, is in police custody. The mass demonstrations of hundreds of thousands have picked up support from other sectors of Chilean society over the past few days. teleSUR
