There's something fishy about the recent spate of reports in China's state-run media about iPhones electrocuting or exploding on their users. Earlier this week, a former stewardess in Xinjiang was reportedly shocked to death when she picked up her charging iPhone 5 to answer a call. Today news is spreading that a Beijing man has been in a coma for 10 days after being zapped by his charging iPhone 4. Then there's the story about the guy in Chongqing whose iPhone allegedly exploded on his bed while he was sleeping last week.
