The US president has welcomed Gulf leaders to both the White House and his Camp David retreat outside Washington. But only two out of six monarchs from the Arabian Peninsula are actually in town. All parties insist that it's not a snub, but it certainly looks that way when you compare it to the royal treatment that France's president got last week at a Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Riyadh.
