Sexual harassment on train: pervert ignored on Taiwan Railway

A 22-year-old female college student, surnamed Yo, was sexually harassed by a 55-year-old drunk man while taking a Taiwan Railway train - and no one helped her. The drunkard apparently groped her hips for 20 minutes. She tried asking for help, but no one did. The train conductor did not call the police and only moved the man to another seat.

The angry student sought the help of police afterward, but even the cops were reluctant to help her. It wasn't until Taiwanese newspaper Apple Daily brought the case to public attention did police begin an investigation.
