Mother-daughter duo: Snapchat jacuzzi nudes lands mom in hot water

A photo of a 50-year-old Missouri mom appearing naked alongside her 14-year-old daughter in a hot tub has landed the woman in hot water: she has been charged with misdemeanor child endangerment after the photos were spread via Snapchat.
The mother, who lives in Wentzville, is not being identified by authorities to protect her teenage daughter.
St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lohmar told local media: "The issue here is the fact the daughter was 14 and the mother was clearly present and involved when the photo was taken. ... It certainly appeared that the picture was posed and it certainly had some sexual overtones."
What happened is this: The mother and her two daughters, 13 and 14, were enjoying their family's outdoor hot tub. The 13-year-old snapped a photo of her sister and her mom. In the photo, the pair covered their nipples, but that didn't matter to Lohmar, who noted breasts were exposed.
The photo was somehow spread around two high schools in the Rockwood School District via Snapchat.
But the mother denies she posed for the photo. She said the photo was taken as she was about to get out of the hot tub. The mother also claims she told her daughter to delete the photo immediately.
This is not the first time this family has experienced nude photo troubles. A year ago, the 14-year-old daughter was ordered by a court to attend counseling after distributing nude selfies.
