Street performer attacked on Christmas Eve, caught on camera

This Christmas on the Gold Coast of Australia, A grinch out to steal all the yuletide cheer was spotted in the form of an obnoxious surfer dude.
A street performer imitates a statue of a cowboy as onlookers film with their phones. Out of nowhere, a douchey surfer guy rolls up and tries to put him in a necklock from behind. The statue comes to life to defend himself, and another bystander also rushes to his aid as well.
This apparently wasn't the first time the street performer dealt with a rowdy passerby; a few months ago he punched a heckler in the nose for 'illegal interference'.
In any case, the attacker was charged with assault and will be facing a judge in January.
