Japanese policeman accused of assault and being a public nuisance

A case involving a Japanese policeman in his late 20s was sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday over two alleged assaults. He stands accused of exposing his private parts to a woman in her 30s in Izumi Osaka in early September. He is also charged with fondling another woman's breasts and inflicting injuring her by tripping her up while she was walking on the street in Takaishi Osaka on September 20. Osaka Police is considering disciplinary action against the officer. The policeman admitted the charges during questioning, saying that he'd thought he would have been fine if he had succeeded in fleeing the scene of the crime.
