Illegal immigrant smuggled in suitcase busted by Spanish border police

In an open-and-shut-case of smuggling stupidity, a 39-year-old Moroccan and a dazed and confused teenager from Mali are in custody after trying to get the young African man through border security from Morocco and into the European Union hidden in a suitcase.
The ballsy border crossing went down at a checkpoint on the boundary between Morocco and the Spanish territory of Melilla in northern Africa.
Their plans were thwarted by quick-witted Spanish agents who spotted a 39-year-old Moroccan man dragging a suspiciously heavy and lop-sided suitcase through the terminal. Smelling bacon, the man lost his nerve — he dropped the case and made a run for it but was caught by guards moments later.
He was taken back to the border and forced to watch the moment the would-be immigrant is freed from his suitcase to heaven looking pretty surprised to be greeted by Spanish federal agents and a disappointed accomplice.
The unharmed 19-year-old was taken to an immigration detention center and is expected to testify against the alleged smuggler.
