Former school security guard Patience Prez has been given a seven-month suspended sentence for sleeping with a 15-year-old boy in Norfolk, Virginia, but still faces similar sex charges in another legal jurisdiction.

Perez, now 24, was 22 at the time of her affair with the unidentified boy. She pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent liberties by a custodian. Perez had met the boy while working at the Renaissance Academy in Virginia Beach.

According to investigators, Perez and the boy had sex several times at his home in Virginia Beach and her home in Norfolk. The pair allegedly exchanged Facebook messages discussing a plot to murder Perez's husband, but charges related to that plot were dropped.

The affair ended after the boy's mother discovered nude photos of Perez on her son's phone.

Perez is not completely in the clear. She must now face similar sex charges in Virginia Beach and will appear in court this week.
