A suspect arrested after a shooting at a Canadian sawmill left two dead

A former sawmill employee in the Canadian town of Nainamo was arrested after a shooting that saw two people killed and two others injured.
The shooting took place shortly after 7 a.m. in the parking lot of a waterfront sawmill in the industrial port area of Nanaimo, as workers were entering to start their shift.
A worker inside the lunch room heard the sound of a shotgun outside.
The suspect first opened fire in the parking lot and then moved toward the offices inside the mill and opened fire again.
Minutes after the first 911 call, police arrived at the scene, arrested a 47-years-old suspect and seized a shotgun.
According to Reuters, the suspect is a resident of Nanaimo and initial indications are that "there may be a connection between the suspect and the company," the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said in a statement.
The motive for the attack is still unknown.
