A university student in Shandong, China, was poisoned by a friend who envied her good grades.
The victim is a sophomore student in Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University. She was hospitalized immediately after drinking poison. The girl is still in the hospital but in a stable state. The university is paying for the girl's medical bills but they haven't found the person who had poisoned her. According to the doctor, the poison was actually a kind of corrosive disinfectant. The family of the victim is waiting for the police and school investigation results but they suspect one of the girl's classmates may have laced the victim's drink with poison. The suspect and the victim are friends but the two are competing for a scholarship. The victim thought it might be the reason that her friend has poisoned her.
