A 62-year-old contestant on a Turkish dating show was escorted out after shocking audiences with the revelation that he had murdered both his former wife as well as a former lover all the while maintaining he was a "honest person looking for a new wife", according to a USA Today report.
Here's his story. At the young age of 17, Sefer Calinak married his first wife. A woman who also happened to be his cousin.
According to Calinak, the two grew apart over the next five months, and apparently worried she might be interested in another man, he killed her.
Apparently good behavior will take you a long way in Turkey. Calinak reportedly served only four and half years of his nearly 14 year sentence.
When he got out, he somehow found another woman to marry him and had two children by her.
Not content with his lot in life. He began an affair with another woman whom he claims he accidentally killed with an ax.
Unsurprisingly, the audience didn't buy his sob story and was quite happy when he was kicked off the program.
