CCTV footage: Man sought who beat to death Ruan Wen Hui in New York's East Village

A 68-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown attacker just one block from his home in the East Village in New York. He died the following day.
Ruan Wen Hui was walking on 6th Street when his attacker approached him from behind around 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Video from a surveillance camera shows the attacker grabbing Ruan and throwing him into a cement wall. The attacker punches Ruan, then stomps on his head three times before walking away.
Several people passed by Ruan as he lay on the ground until police officers arrived at the scene six minutes later.
Ruan was taken to Bellevue hospital where he died from his injuries Saturday.
Police are offering $2,000 to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the assailant.
Ruan is survived by his wife and three daughters. He had dropped his grandchildren off at home just prior to being attacked.
