Police in Boynton Beach, Florida were caught on camera sweep kicking a 13-year-old boy who they already had in handcuffs.
Kevens Jeanbaptiste, 13, was told by his school bus driver to keep the window up while they were on the way to school Thursday morning. But when a girl sprayed perfume on the bus, he needed to open the window because he has asthma, he told reporters.
The bus driver pulled over and called the police. They arrived and escorted two boys off the bus in handcuffs. The video shows one officer putting Jeanbaptiste in a choke hold before setting the boy down in the grass.
At some point, Jeanbaptiste stood up and was facing one of the officers. Another officer walked up from the beside the boy and kicked his legs out from underneath him. Jeanbaptiste flew into the air and landed on his back.
The incident was recorded by another student who was still on the bus.
Boynton Beach Police said on their Facebook page that one officer has been placed on administrative duty and will remain so until an investigation is concluded.
