Eight-year old Pennsylvania girl Cassidy Wall is lucky to be alive after being sent flying after getting hit by a car as it fled from police.

Cassidy and her sister were enjoying a normal Friday night playing on the street corner outside their home in Erie, when a high-speed police chase passed through their neighborhood.

The suspect's car hit another vehicle and lost control. It careened into another parked car before barrelling into Cassidy as she tried to flee, knocking her to the floor.

Her younger sister Zmyiah only just managed to avoid the out-of-control vehicle by a whisker.

Miraculously, Cassidy suffered only a mild concussion.

The two suspects, meanwhile, were booked for attempting to flee police, as well as drugs and weapons charges.
