After Meghan Tonjes' photo was taken down by Instagram, the LA plus-size woman posted a YouTube video discussing the incident — which prompted an apology from the social media site and got her photo restored.

The weight loss blogger is proud of her body and documents her transformation on Instagram, but received a note from the site saying her butt selfie violated company guidelines.

So she took to YouTube accusing Instagram of double standards. The complaint video went viral, forcing the social media site to apologize for its mistake.

Tonjes was thrilled with Instagram's response. She said she saw the incident as an opportunity to create a dialogue, not about weight acceptance, but self-love.
