Three people from Louisiana have been arrested for allegedly keeping a transgender woman from Minnesota as a sex slave while torturing and forcing her to perform menial tasks and sexual acts.
The three suspects were named as David Rodriguez Jr., 37, Christina Marie Harper, 39 and Ambre Tubbs Lomas, 39.
The transgender woman moved to Louisiana after meeting her captors online. Later she was tattooed and given daily chores including serving meals, tending to animals, installing a swimming pool, removing fallen trees and performing sexual acts.
If she failed to perform her duties, she was disciplined by the trio with beatings. When the victim told her master she wanted to leave she was chained up in the wood, fed once a day and given only water and urine to drink.
The three suspects turned themselves in to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office on Wednesday morning. Deputies then searched their residence and seized 15 firearms, a stun gun and 4 computers.
The trio have been charged with one count of human trafficking, one count of aggravated battery and second degree kidnapping, false imprisonment.
