Tesla in China: Man smashes up new $170,000 Tesla Model S over late delivery

American company Tesla Motors has entered the China market and began delivering the $170,000 Model S to Chinese customers last week.
Yu Xingquan, an e-commerce businessman from Inner Mongolia, ordered a white one but became annoyed by delivery delays. Unhappy at not being the first owner of a Model S in China, he smashed the windshield of his new toy with a wrench in a fit of rage. He said the brand's arrogance made him angry.
Tesla Motors Inc shares closed at $239.06 on Friday, and have increased by 59% so far this year.
