Random public attack: San Antonio man pummeled to death at Amtrak Station

Cibolo resident Michael Joseph Fobbs, 21, is now facing a murder charge after pummelling a 56-year-old man to death at an Amtrak station in downtown San Antonio last week, in what police say was an unprovoked attack.
Bystanders say the victim, identified on Tuesday by police as Joseph Keith Richard, was sitting on a bench waiting for a bus moments before his life abruptly ended.
Two passengers waiting for the train say Fobbs was pacing angrily in and out of the train building just before 11pm on Thursday.
He allegedly gave some passengers 'an angry look' and ignored one person who asked him if everything was alright.
According to witnesses, the third time Fobbs went outside, he approached Richard, who was three days shy of his 57th birthday, and said "I feel like killing someone" before fatally assaulting him.
Amtrak security rushed to the scene but were too late, Richard died at the scene.
Fobbs next walked into the restroom and changed his bloodied shirt.
Police who arrived and arrested Fobbs say he "did not appear to be in a normal state of mind."
Fobbs is being held at Bexar County jail on a $150,000 bond.
