Park Wan-su, the President of the Incheon International Airport Corporation
Since its opening in 2001, Incheon International Airport has undergone a dramatic evolution to become indisputably the world's No. 1 airport in the areas of air operation, services and logistics. After withstanding the voices of concerns and even objections to its construction project back in 1992, the airport has been amassing numerous awards over the years in recognition of its advanced facilities and exceptional services. For instance, it has been named the winner of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards hosted by the Airports Council International (ACI) for 10 consecutive years, and it was even honored with the Best Transit Airport Award and the Best Baggage Handling System Award in 2014.

We invited Park Wan-su, who was appointed as the President of the Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) in October 2014, to speak about Incheon International Airport, the main gateway to Korea. He shared with us the differentiated strengths of the airport as well as the three-phase second terminal construction and Air City establishment projects. He noted that the second terminal, the construction of which is scheduled to be completed by September 2017, is expected to help Incheon International Airport better accommodate the travelers coming to Korea for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics.

Incheon International Airport is well-known for its exceptional baggage handling system, automated immigration check services as well as the cultural performances and experience programs in store for the foreign tourists. Join us on The INNERview this week to meet Park Wan-su, the new head of IIAC, who is determined to leave a strong impression on the visitors to Korea with state-of-the-art facilities and excellent services.
