UK General Election 2015: UKIP candidate is an adult star called Johnny Rockard

With the General Election fast approaching many people in the UK would probably be pleased to see the Tories, Labour, and the Lib Dems face some stiff opposition.

And let's face it none comes stiffer than the UK Independence Party, or UKIP, candidate for Bristol's Stockwood ward - John Langley, a.k.a. adult entertainment baron Johnny Rockard.

News of Rockard's 30-year long career in the adult entertainment industry doesn't seem to have put people off him, with many voicing support.

In his own defense, Rockard told reporters "Normal people go to the pub and enjoy a pint and then probably go home and enjoy adult entertainment."

And that's the kind of bloke's bloke sentiment shared by his UKIP party boss Nigel Farage. Although Mr Farage has yet to publicly comment on Mr. Langley and his controversial career choice.

Maybe Langley is getting a pass because people are just fed up of being ridden by the three main parties for so long.

And let's face it. When it comes to standing up for his local community. None of the other candidates can compare.

A UKIP spokesman said: "Mr Langley is not doing anything illegal and it is a little bit unusual but at the end of the day he is a businessman.

So, as long as you don't consider filming public sex scenes in broad daylight unusual, vote for Johnny!
