Polish football hooligans: Police shoot man dead with rubber bullet during soccer riot - TomoNews

A man has been shot dead with a rubber bullet during a riot at a football match in Poland.

The 27-year-old fan was shot dead after violence erupted during a lower-league game in the city of Knurów.

According to reports, the death created major unrest, with widespread rioting that went on late into Saturday night, and which caused injuries to 14 police officers.

The government has said it is investigating both the shooting and the post-match violence.
