Police in San Jose, California, are looking for a white bearded man in this 30s who tried to attack a 13-year-old girl as she opened the door to her home.

Surveillance footage shows the creepy man stalking his victim as she walks through a quiet suburban street. The man can be seen a few paces behind her.

As she stood on her porch, the man approached and began asking inappropriate questions.

The girl made a decision to run inside and the suspect followed.

Inside the house, the man assaulted the girl, but she fought back. The unidentified teen hit her attacker in the face, causing him to flee.

The girl texted her father saying: “Daddy, come home now. Some guy tried to rape me.”

Police are continuing to search for the suspect, who is believed to have assaulted a 28-year-woman in a grocery store restroom.
