Smuggler caught: woman tries to cross Spanish border with boy in suitcase - TomoNews

An eight-year-old boy from the Ivory Coast was smuggled into the Spanish city of Ceuta from Morocco inside a suitcase.

According to Spanish media, a 19-year-old woman brought the boy into Ceuta inside her suitcase. She is not related to the boy, but was paid by his father to smuggle him across the border.

The boy’s father lives in Spain’s Canary Islands and hoped to be reunited with his son.
