Salman Khan was handed out a five-year jail term by a Mumbai sessions court after being found guilty of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

Salman has been booked under Section 279 (rash driving); 304 A of the Indian Penal Code (rash and negligent driving); 338 (causing major injuries); 427 (negligence) in connection with the case and 337 (causing minor injuries).

Following this, the actor’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and lawyer reached the Bombay High Court to apply for bail. Noted layer Harish Salve represented the actor in the court, and the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star has been granted two days interim bail. Phew!

So peeps – are you happy that Salman has been granted two days bail? Should High Court reduce his jail term considering his humanitarian work? Your thoughts are as always, most welcome…
