Nepal: Earthquake Death Toll Tops 7,500

As the tragedy continues to unfold in Nepal after the country was hit by the worst earthquake in the last eight decades, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit Papau, New Guinea, setting off tsunami alerts that were later lifted after no damage was reported. In Nepal, however, the death toll continues to rise. It now stands at 7,500 with over 14,000 people reported injured.
