The Fight (Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquaio)

Manny Pacquiao & Floyd Mayweather. Two of the greatest fighters, training for the biggest fight in history. Taking it back 70's Old School, "Rumble in the Jungle" style. We did not want the music to force and carry the visuals, rather than just simply flow with the juxtaposition of training. Having been able to spend the time with these guys, I was not trying to shoot this HBO or Showtime style, rather capture it my way, use my anamorphics, and present a little bit different look and feel both through the lens and in post. I shot a bunch of old film projector reels and added the splices and tape in the midst of some edit points. Grain, grit and splices, all in cinemascope delight!
