Wife’s Loss Inspires Comforting Quilts For Cancer Patients

Putting her needle and thread to good use - When her husband was diagnosed with cancer, Deb would accompany him to his treatments. While she sat and waited, she noticed people would be alone and cold during their treatment in the center. That's when she decided she wanted to give back. After her husband passed, she knew that she had to start quilting in order to heal. Powered by volunteers and material donations, Quilts That Care has made more than 500 quilts to date.
