RMC cracks down on mango juice vendors - Tv9 Gujarati

Rajkot : Food safety officers of Rajkot Municipal Corporation cracked down on outlets selling mango juice in the city. RMC officials checked such outlets across the city in a concerted drive. The drive was conducted in Greenland Chowkdi area.
The officers found colour being used widely in mango juice. They destroyed 260 kg of mango, 175 kg of sugar syrup laced with colour that were not fit for consumption. The vendors were issued a notice and asked to maintain hygiene at their outlets.
