For the sixth day, protestors take to the streets in Baltimore to demand answers over what happened to Freddie Gray, who died of a spine injury in the hands of police. The demonstrators shouted “No justice, no peace,” as they did after the murder of young Michael Brown by white policeman Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri last August. Today Michael Brown’s family filed a wrongful death suit against the city of Ferguson. They are seeking unspecified damages and police reforms. African-Americans who have been killed by police with total impunity in recent months include Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, Eric Harris, Walter Scott and finally, Freddie Gray. teleSUR
