Splitting headache: Knife in head fails to kill stabbed Brazilian woman

A Brazilian woman is still alive after being stabbed in the forehead with an enormous kitchen knife by her ex-boyfriend.
Authorities discovered Alcileide Rodrigues dos Santos with the knife embedded several inches into her skull as she was chilling on a bench in San Pedro Town in Sao Paolo.
With the knife still stuck in her head, Santos told police what had happened and that her ex-boyfriend Roberto dos Anjos was the alleged attacker.
Santos said she was attacked by her ex after they got into a heated argument around 5 p.m. last Thursday, however she didn’t say what they were arguing about.
After being stabbed, Santos made her way to a nearby bench. That’s when some passing police officers noticed her completely covered in blood, with the large, white-handled knife protruding out of her right eyebrow.
The police first took Santos to the PM Central Police Station nearby for first aid, before she was moved by ambulance to the Hospital Estadual Mario Covas.
Luckily for Santos, the wound was only superficial. The blade it appears did not hit her brain. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Authorities are now looking for Anjos.
