China's claims it has discovered a miricale Ebloa cure. It is a hoax?

A company in China is now claiming that it has discovered the cure for Ebola, a deadly virus that was first identified in 1976, which is usually 50% fatal and those victims who don’t die from bleeding internally and externally are typically left scarred.

However, Chinese “professionals” are now saying that Pian Zhi Huang, a Chinese herbal medicine, can cure Ebola. The medicine has been used in Indonesia on patients suffering from dengue fever, because the primary ingredients treat fever, inflammation and pain symptoms.

An offer to ship a supply of the Chinese herbal medication to West Africa has been rejected, due to the unconfirmed reliability of the medication and possible negative side effects.

Clearly, they’re not desperate enough to try an untested medicine that includes various herbs, roots, and snake bile. Just to name a few of the ingredients.

This wouldn’t be the first attempt at using alternative medicine to cure Ebola, the FDA does advise people against advertisements making unverified or fraudulent claims resulting from various anti-Ebola “cures”. But some may argue, Western medicine hasn’t come up with a cure yet.

If you’re already infected, what’ve you got to lose?
