Caught on video: CCTV footage shows jealous man stalking ex-wife before murdering her

The ground behind the police tape is seen smeared and splattered with blood and security camera footage gives us the last known sighting of the victim as she left work.
This is Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second largest city and the woman you see here was murdered by her former husband, who also makes a brief cameo in the footage, drunkenly staggering after her.
He next cornered her and began brutally stabbing her with a knife. Three times in the chest and once in the back as she attempted to run away.
After the victim collapsed, a witness called the police who pursued the man as he fled the scene on his scooter.
The chase ended when the suspect later pulled up in front of the police station, passively handed over the knife and drunkenly mumbled, “I killed someone.”
To the police’s surprise, the man went as far as to stagger into the station and cuffed himself to one of the railings.
Police say that the man and the victim had been divorced for months and that the ex-husband believed that his wife had been carrying out an affair. Unable to let go of his suspicions despite already being divorced the man, in a drunken stupor, lost control, and attacked his wife out of jealousy.
Authorities found a bottle of alcohol among the man’s possessions but said he only registered a 0.08 on a breathalyzer, hardly enough to send the average person into a drunken rage.
Several of the victim’s friends gathered outside the police station, some demanding justice and some just demanding to beat the living daylights out of the murderer.
