Bullying in school: Japanese girl gang arrested for beating and robbing high school

In Yokohama, a dispute over Twitter resulted in one high school girl being severely beaten and burned with cigarettes.
On the evening of Dec. 7th, four high school senior girls felt that a classmate was bad mouthing them on Twitter so they confronted her outside of the school.
The four bullies beat the girl so badly they knocked some of her teeth out and then they burned her hands with cigarettes.
One of the girls then took the victim’s purse and pulled cash from her wallet, handing it to the victim she forced her to “give” her $170USD (JPY20,000).
Police have arrested the four bullies who admitted to the beating, but only one girl has confessed to robbing the victim.
