Teenager hit by 40-tonne truck at 45 mph and miraculously survives

A 14-year-old boy was mowed down by a 40-tonne lorry on a road near Staffordshire County in the UK. Miraculously, he survived basically unscathed and the driver of the lorry caught it all on his dash cam.
Two teenage boys decided to run across a country road just as a lorry driving at 54 mph was approaching. One boy made a clean break for it while the second one realized seconds too late he wasn’t going to make it across. He tried to change direction and outrun the vehicle for a brief second before the truck ran him over.
Fortunately, the teen survived with no serious injuries and the dash cam clip has been released by SmartWitness, the manufacturer of the recording device, as a message to all teens to stop trying to outrun trucks.
