A teenage girl blew herself up at a bus station in northeastern Nigeria on Tuesday, killing at least 15 nearby people and wounding some 50 others.

The girl arrived at the Tashan Dan Borno bus station in Potiskum on Tuesday. One witness says that the female suicide bomber arrived in a rickshaw and was boarding a bus when she apparently detonated the bomb.

Tuesday's attack is the second attack in Potiskum this week. Over the weekend, another girl, who was approximately 10 years old, killed five people after detonating a bomb at a crowded market in Potiskum.

No one has claimed responsibility for Tuesday's attack, although Islamic militant group Boko Haram is likely to be behind the attack. Potiskum lies in Yobe state, a state that has seen many Boko Haram attacks over the past year. Yobe's neighboring state of Borno has fared even worse and has been largely overrun by the militants.
