Body found in lake: Missing waitress Apryl Foster found dead in submerged car in Florida Lake

A 33-year-old Florida woman who went missing after a night of karaoke has been found in a submerged car in a lake just a half-mile from her home.
Apryl Foster was last seen on February 12 at 2:30 a.m. after singing karaoke with friends. Her parents became concerned the next day when they failed to hear from their daughter, who always called them twice daily to check in.
A massive search was conducted in the greater Tampa area. Billboards and flyers of the missing woman were distributed throughout the region. Foster’s estranged husband and boyfriend were both questioned by police but soon cleared.
Her parents, who lived out of state, turned to the media while pleading for her safe return.
A half mile from Foster’s home in Brandon, a man boating on Mango Lake became concerned after his boat hit something under the water. A similar instance occurred with another resident, which led them to review surveillance footage.
In the footage, law enforcement said they saw Foster’s car drive into the parking lot, down the boat ramp, and into the lake.
Search crews recovered the woman’s Chevy Aveo, her body still inside from the lake.
