Video shows would-be car thief knocked out by his own brick while trying to steal new Mercedes coupe

A would-be thief got his just desserts after a brick he hurled at a Mercedes coupe ricocheted and hit him square in the face… and it was all captured on camera.
The moron, dubbed “thick with a brick” by Gerry Brady the owner of said Mercedes, and the sweet soul to whom we owe our gratitude for posting the amazing footage, was found bloodied and bruised after the failed break-in attempt.
“When I saw him, he was lying there stone cold on the ground and his face was in ribbons,” Brady told the Irish Independent.
“My first thought was that ‘this guy is after getting the **** knocked out of him’, while my girlfriend said it must have been a hit and run.”
After sobering up, the bandit tried to blackmail Brady.
“He pulled himself up and said he wanted €50 for a taxi. I said ‘Not a chance, I’ve to pay for a new window mate”, that’s when he leaned in and told me he’d burn me out of the pub,” he said.
The pair left and contacted police, who after breaking into hysterics watching the video, found and apprehended the moron.
