ISIS threat: '21' birthday balloons mistaken by Swedish cops for Islamic State paraphernalia

Sarah Ericsson of Karlskrona, Sweden will always remember her 21th birthday after police mistook her party decorations for colorful Islamic State paraphernalia.
Ericsson celebrated her coming of age over the weekend. However she did had no idea the '21' balloons visible through her apartment window would bring her unexpected guests.
Fabian Akesson, Ericsson's boyfriend, was brushing his teeth next to the window when Ericsson out for class Monday morning. That's when Akesson noticed several police cars outside before he answered the knocks at the door.
The officers showed Akesson the photo they had taken from outside of the window. Apparently they thought the balloons spelled out I.S., in reference to the Islamic State.
Akesson told The Local that, "They asked me to take down the balloons to avoid further misunderstanding. We laughed some more about it all and they wished me a nice day, and wished my girlfriend a belated Happy Birthday."
"Extremism should always be taken seriously, and we did take the balloons down immediately," the birthday girl Ericsson told The Local. "I'm so surprised at all the attention. I will never forget my 21st birthday!"
