Door-to-door mass murder: Missouri gunman Joseph Aldridge kills seven neighbors and family members

A disturbed Missouri man ended his own life after going on a violent door-to-door rampage that saw him take the lives of four relatives and three neighbors, Thursday evening in Texas County, according to a Reuters report.
Gunman Joseph Aldridge, 36, described as a recluse by those who knew him, began the rampage after allegedly having a job request denied by neighbor Darrel Shriver, 68, according to a family relative cited by the Daily Mail.
Shortly after the application was rejected, Aldridge allegedly showed up to Shriver’s home with a .45 caliber handgun, killed him and seriously wounded his wife Martha, 67. Aldridge also took the lives of Shriver’s son Carey, 46, and his daughter-in-law, Valirea, 44, before fleeing.
Missouri police identified the four other victims as Garold Dee Aldridge, 52, his wife Julie Ann Aldridge, 47, Harold Wayne Aldridge, 50, and his wife Janell Arlisa Aldridge, 48.
Aldridge's 74-year-old mother, Alice, was found dead in the home she shared with her son. An autopsy performed on Saturday found she died of natural causes, Texas County Coroner, Tom Whitaker said.
Aldridge's body was found dead in his own GMC truck in Shannon County, some 25 miles away from Texas County. The coroner said that Aldridge’s had died of a self-inflicted bullet wound to the head.
