A disturbing new video released by the Islamic State shows militants shooting a man they accuse of being a spy repeatedly at point-blank range, according to a Daily Mail report.

The nearly 4-minute-long video, which bears the logo of Halab, ISIS' media wing in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo and is titled "A Lesson to be Learned", begins with an apparent confession by the man, who identifies himself as Ahmed al-Mohammed.

Four masked militants are next seen leading him across a courtyard to where one of the men barbarically shoots him multiple times.

The 30-year-old veterinary graduate reportedly stood accused of providing sensitive information as part of a spy network in neighboring Turkey, according to the Daily Mail.

As if to punctuate worries about their ever-increasing influence, this past weekend also saw supporters of the Islamic State threaten Twitter and its employees for blocking social media accounts linked to the group.

The alarming warning, posted to anonymous Polish forum justpaste.it, featured an illustration of the social media site's co-founder, Jack Dorsey, with crosshairs superimposed over his face along with numerous death threats.

Among them, the allusion that murdering the San Francisco-based company's employees at a neighborhood bar would be as difficult to prevent as the recent Charlie Hebdo and Copenhagen shootings.

Twitter says they're taking the threat seriously and are in touch with law enforcement, according to Buzzfeed, who first reported the alleged threat and cited a company spokesman.
