Viral girl fight video: Indianapolis teen seen in brutal beating video arrested, say police

The creature responsible for a merciless attack on a 14-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother in Indianapolis shocked the internet on Monday when a video of the attack appeared on Liveleak and quickly went viral. Now, a 14-year-old girl who police believe is responsible, is in police custody, in part thanks to the video, which police say helped them quickly identify the teenager.
Police made the arrest for disorderly conduct after she was involved in another fight downtown just few hours after the attack at Brookside Park in the city’s east.
Both the suspect and the victim, who reportedly know one another attend George Washington Community High School, say police.
The girl on the business end of those punches, identified by ABC 6 Indianapolis as Barbara, says she and her younger brother Tyler are fine, but she don’t understand why no one stepped in to help them.
Owing to the age of the alleged attacker, police have not made her name public. But Internet activists have published a number of photos and screenshots of social media pages they say belong to the perpetrator.
