Argentina demands explanations from Britain on widespread spying

The Argentine Foreign Ministry summoned the country’s British ambassador on Thursday to demand explanations over revelations by former NSA officer Edward Snowden of massive digital espionage against Argentina by Britain. Argentine Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain informed British diplomat John Freeman that, “actions of that type violate the right of privacy."
