The chorus melody of this tune stems back to the early 90's and was eventually incorporated into a Gearhead Freaks song called "Ya Gotta Re-Type It". You can hear this melody played on the trumpet at the end of that tune. I always liked the idea but Gian DiMauro and I never bothered to develop it. Two decades later the musical seeds have grown into a full fledged song. But I kind of saw that happening in the future so...
