Racist cop? Plainclothes officer investigated after tirade against Indian Uber driver

A plain clothes police officer with the New York Police Department is under investigation after unleashing a racist tirade against an Indian immigrant who works as an Uber driver, according to the New York Daily News.
The racist tirade was filmed by the driver’s passenger and posted to YouTube. In the video, the police officer is heard berating the driver’s accent and also asking him how long he has lived in the United States.
"I don't know what fucking planet you're on right now!" the hotheaded cop screams at the Indian driver.
Sanjay Seth, who posted the video to YouTube, said the altercation started following a parking dispute.
He wrote: “The policeman was allegedly attempting to park without using his blinker at a green light ... The Uber driver pulled around and gestured that he should use his blinker, casually and non-offensively, and kept driving us. The policeman aggressively pulls up behind us and this is what happens.”
