'Hanuman Jayanti' celebrations across Gujarat - Tv9 Gujarati

Hanuman Jayanti (birthday of Lord Hanuman) is being celebrated in the city with religious fervour today. While the temples are decorated with lights and flowers, shobha yatras will also be taken out in various localities. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated during the month of Chaitra. From early morning, devotees begin arriving at the temples of Lord Hanuman to offer prayers. The devotees apply vermillion on Hanuman's idols as this is considered to bring good luck.
