PhD thesis in English raises storm in Gujarat University - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: Gujarat University asking research students to submit at least one copy of their PhD thesis in English has generated controversy. Till now, it was not compulsory for PhD students to submit their thesis in English. While the vice-chancellor MN Patel has welcomed the University Grants Commission (UGC) order saying "Most reputed varsities have their thesis records in English and then only someone can refer it."
