AMC's demolition drive leads to stone pelting - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: Tension prevailed in Juhapura area of the city after locals turned violent against a demolition drive by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) authorities. The civic authorities were carrying out a demolition drive to clear encroachments in the area but the locals started pelting stones at the squad. AMC will demolish Fatehwadi Canal and illegal structures on 100 feet road in Juhapura during its two-day drive.
