[ISS] Soyuz TMA-16M Docks to Space Station, Year Long Mission Underway

A Russian Soyuz TMA-16M spacecraft with Russian cosmonauts Gennady Padalka and Mikhail Korniyenko as well as NASA astronaut Scott Kelly onboard docked to the International Space Station today, March 28th 2015 at 01:32 UTC after just over 6 hours in orbit from when they lifted off from Baikonur on a Soyuz-FG rocket.
Mikhail Korinyenko and Scott Kelly are due to spend an entire year onboard the complex, the first ever time such a long duration mission has been conducted onboard the complex.
