Argentina marks e9th anniversary of brutal military coup

Thousands of people marched in Buenos Aires on Tuesday to repudiate the bloody military coup that began 39 years ago when Jorge Rafael Videla and two other military leaders staged a coup on March 24, 1976, and subsequently took the lives of at least 30,000 suspected leftists and political dissidents. Many perpetrators were originally granted amnesty, but this was repealed in 2005 under the administration of Nestor Kirchner. teleSUR
